By using Echola, you acknowledge that:

The Service
Echola is a language learning application that provides:
- Shadowing practice with native speaker audio
- AI-powered pronunciation feedback (requires user-configured AI engine)
- Vocabulary learning with dictionary and mastery tracking
- Progress tracking with streaks, goals, and statistics
- Cross-device sync via iCloud
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the app lawfully and in accordance with these terms
- Provide your own AI engine configuration if you want AI feedback features
- Keep your iCloud account secure as it stores your learning data
- Not reverse engineer or modify the app in any unauthorized manner
Intellectual Property
- We own the application, design, and related intellectual property
- You own the content you create (recordings, notes, etc.)
- Course content is provided under license and may not be redistributed
Content and Courses
- Course content is provided by third-party sources and Echola
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of all learning materials
- Course availability may change over time
AI Features
- AI pronunciation analysis depends on third-party AI services you configure
- We are not responsible for AI service availability, accuracy, or pricing
- Your audio data is sent to your chosen AI provider — review their terms separately
Service Availability
- The app is provided "as is" without warranty
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability
- iCloud sync depends on Apple's infrastructure
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- We do not guarantee data accuracy or availability
- AI feedback is for educational purposes and should not be relied upon as professional language assessment
